The Philadelphia Eagles have made changes to their medical staff for the second year in a row.According to Tim McManus of ESPN.com Michael Deiter Jersey , the Eagles have parted ways with head team physician and head internist Stephen A. Stache after only one season.As part of a restructuring of the department, the team has named Arsh Dhanota as their new chief medical officer. Dhanota comes to the Eagles after serving as the medical director of non-operative sports medicine at Penn Medicine.The Eagles saw increased injury rates last season and several high-profile players found themselves sidelined.“I think when you look at our IR list, there are a lot of good players on that list. There is no doubt about it. We have to study Daniel Jones Jersey , we have to figure out ways to continue to get healthier and to keep our players on the field,” G.M. Howie Roseman said in January.The move from Stache to Dhanota comes after the Eagles made more sweeping changes to the department a year ago. Head internist Gary Dorshimer, head physician Peter DeLuca and head trainer Chris Peduzzi were all let go after being with the team for nearly two decades. The Panthers will hold their first practice of training camp on Thursday and quarterback Cam Newton is set to throw passes once the team gets on the field.That was not the case for much of the offseason as Newton as he worked his way back from right shoulder surgery Dexter Lawrence Jersey , but head coach Ron Rivera said on Wednesday that the team feels the quarterback is “ready to roll” this summer. Rivera also said that the team is not going to let Newton roll without a pitch count as he works his way back into the routine, however.“We have a plan,” Rivera said Deandre Baker Jersey , via Steve Reed of the . “Obviously it’s going to be structured around our installation. The things we have going in with our install will dictate what he does. All his reps will be monitored, he’ll be scripted out and we’ll just follow that pattern as we go through it.”Rivera said that the plan the team has devised took into account their experience from a few years ago when Newton had to scale back his work upon returning from another shoulder injury. The goal is to have things move the other way this time, but Rivera noted that “the proof will be in the pudding.”
