AT SHEETAbout the only advantage the Aggies had during the game was in rebounds during the first half, holding a 27-22 advantage Antworten

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- With her team playing its second road game in three days, coach Cori Close was just hoping UCLA would find a way to get better against North Carolina A&T on the Aggies home court. The Bruins did just that in an emphatic manner.Monique Billings and Kari Korver scored 15 points apiece to lead five players in double figures as No. 10 UCLA coasted to a 83-42 win against North Carolina A&T on Tuesday.Jordin Canada had 12 points and 10 assists for the Bruins (9-2), who are off to their best start since opening the 2010-11 season with 10 straight wins.Coming off a disappointing loss against No. 6 South Carolina on Sunday, UCLA dominated in all areas to head into the Christmas break. Our biggest goal we had for today was to finish strong and get better, Close said. Its very easy for kids to be halfway out the door for Christmas break. Overall, we just wanted to stay hungry and I thought we were able to do that. But I also think theres more in us, and I think were going to find it.Kennedy Burke and Kelli Hayes added 11 points apiece for UCLA, which had 20 assists on its 31 made field goals and shot 54.4 percent from the floor.Kala Green scored 12 points for North Carolina A&T (2-9), which struggled all game on offense and finished with more turnovers (23) than made field goals (13).The Bruins used a stifling defense in the first half to take control, holding the Aggies to four total field goals on 15.2 percent shooting while building a 45-17 lead. The Bruins scored 23 points off 16 Aggie turnovers in the first half and made 15 of 30 field goals, including 5 of 9 from 3-point range.UCLA, which entered the game averaging more than six 3-pointers, made 9 of 18, with Korver going 5 for 8 behind the arc.BIG PICTUREUCLA: The Bruins got back on the winning track after their loss to the Gamecocks, dominating in all facets against a lesser opponent in its nonconference finale.N.C. A&T: The Aggies got a taste of playing a top-10 team on their home court. Despite the lopsided loss, the level of competition they faced should be a building block for them once conference play opens up in January.STAT SHEETAbout the only advantage the Aggies had during the game was in rebounds during the first half, holding a 27-22 advantage, with 16 of those on the offensive end.SCHEDULE QUIRKUCLA wanted to squeeze in a second game during its brief tour of the Carolinas and found the perfect partner in N.C. A&T, which is about a 3-hour drive from Columbia, South Carolina, where the Bruins played on Sunday. The game time -- noon -- was also a bit unusual, but A&T had a packed gym courtesy of local middle school students that were bused in and created a lively atmosphere.UP NEXTUCLA: Returns home to open Pac-12 play against Utah on Dec. 30 and Colorado on Jan. 1.N.C. A&T: Closes out 2016 with home games against Ohio on Dec. 28 and Francis Marion on Dec. 31. Vapormax Hvid Danmark . Bradwell was scheduled to become a free agent Tuesday. Born and raised in Toronto, Bradwell is entering his sixth CFL season, with all six played for his hometown Argonauts. Vapormax Dame Danmark . On June 12, just as the sun sets on the magnificent historical city of Sao Paulo the inventors, innovators and purveyors of “joga bonitowill” open their campaign. As opposites do attract we are set for a corker of an opener. http://www.vapormaxdanmark.com/vapormax-dame-sko-danmark/vapormax-sort-dk.html . MORITZ, Switzerland -- Fog prevented downhill racers from getting their Olympic dress rehearsal. Vapormax Hvid Dame Danmark . Kiriasis and brakeman Franziska Fritz finished two runs in one minute 55.41 seconds -- a mere 0.01 seconds ahead of Meyers and Lolo Jones, who likely bolstered her Olympic hopes by helping give USA-1 a huge push in the second heat. Nike Vapormax Tilbud Danmark . LOUIS -- Theres no telling how these wacky World Series games will end. TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona has a first-half problem. Two games so far this season and twice the Wildcats have stumbled through the first half before finding something in the second. Arizona lost the first slow-starter against BYU, then pulled it together in time to rally past Grambling State last weekend.Arizona gets one more chance to get it right Saturday against Hawaii, its final game before the Pac-12 season starts.Once you get in a rhythm offensively, by getting some first downs and some momentum, its easy to take off from there, Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said. We havent done that in two (first) halves in a row. We just have to execute better when we come out of the gates.Arizona needed nearly three quarters to get going against BYU in Glendale, scoring two fourth-quarter touchdowns before giving up a late scoring drive in an 18-16 loss. The Wildcats followed with another stumble-out-of-the-gate performance against Grambling State, putting themselves in danger of being on the wrong end of one of college footballs biggest upsets against the spread. Arizona found its rhythm in the second half, though, knocking off the Tigers 31-21 after entering as a 45-point favorite. The Rainbow Warriors head to Old Pueblo as 24-point underdogs after being routed by California and Michigan before beating Tennessee-Martin last weekend.Hawaii could be the perfect opportunity for the Wildcats to get off to a fast start, allowing an average of 28.6 first-half points through three games. We have to try to do something to get us in a rhythm offensively, where we can get some first downs and gain some confidence, Rodriguez said.A few more things to look for when the Rainbow Warriors meet the Wildcats in the desert:---ROAD WARRIORS: The Rainbow Warriors usually log plenty of travel because of thheir location in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but this season has been a grind even for them.dddddddddddd. Hawaii opened the season in Australia against Cal, went to Ann Arbor eight days later, then back to Honolulu a week after that. Thats more than 20,000 miles through the first three games, more than some teams travel an entire season.ARIZONA UNDER CENTER: Sophomore Brandon Dawkins may get his second straight start this week. Junior Anu Solomon earned the starting job out of training camp, but injured his knee during practice the week after the opener. Solomon is listed as questionable on Arizonas injury report and Rodriguez could decide to start Dawkins even if hes ready to go to prevent further injury. Dawkins threw for 223 yards and a touchdown on 15-of-29 passing and ran for 97 yards and a pair of TDs on 16 carries against Grambling State.HAWAIIS TURNOVERS: Hawaiis offense has had some success against good opponents, averaging 25 points per game. What has hurt the Rainbow Warriors is turnovers. Hawaii has eight turnovers in three games, including five interceptions by quarterback Ikaika Woolsey. Arizona forced six turnovers last week against Grambling State, so ball protection will be a big key for the Rainbow Warriors.RUNNING DEPTH: Arizona listed Nick Wilson and Orlando Bradford as co-starters at the beginning of the season, Wilson got the bulk of the carries the first two games. Bradford was dismissed from the team on Wednesday after being charged with four counts of aggravated assault and three counts of kidnapping, meaning freshman J.J. Taylor will move up the depth chart. He has one carry and two punt returns so far this season. ' ' '
