ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions are likely to be without their leading rusher for the second straight week.Theo Riddick, the teams starting running back after Ameer Abdullah went on injured reserve, is officially listed as doubtful for Sundays game against the New York Giants. He was a surprise inactive last week with a wrist injury after practicing two of three days.Riddick has not practiced this week, and Lions coach Jim Caldwell said Thursday that the running back is healing.Riddick has 92 carries for 357 yards this season, but his biggest value is as a receiver. He is one of the top pass-catching running backs in the NFL with 53 receptions for 371 yards.With Riddick unlikely to play, the Lions will rely on rookie Dwayne Washington and second-year pro Zach Zenner to handle the majority of the carries out of the backfield. Riddicks absence could be especially difficult for Detroit because bad weather could affect the conditions at MetLife Stadium.Detroit will definitely be without starting center Travis Swanson for the second straight week as he recovers from a concussion. Swanson has not practiced since Week 13 against the New Orleans Saints.
