"We are really disappointed Antworten

PORTLAND, Ore. Bobby Clarke Jersey . -- Ryan Nelsens comments about MLS officiating have cost him. Major League Soccer confirmed Wednesday that the Toronto FC manager had been fined for his comments on referee Ted Unkel following Torontos 2-1 home loss to Sporting Kansas City on July 26. Torontos list of complaints included a no-call in the 23rd minute when Unkel waved play on after Kansas City defender Aurelien Collin, chasing Brazilian striker Gilberto, appeared to clip the Brazilians leg. Gilberto, who had a clear path on goal, went down with Toronto expecting a red card for Collin. Instead the French defender went unpunished. "Collin should have been sent off. I mean an under-12 ref can pick that one," Nelsen said after the game. "Thats pretty basic." Nelsen said later he expected to be fined for his criticism. But star Toronto midfielder Michael Bradley escaped league sanctions for his post-game comments. "Its by no means an excuse, it was the same for both teams, but the referee was absolutely awful," Bradley said in the locker-room. "The people at the MLS (head) office in New York, when they talk about wanting to improve the league, the first thing that needs to be improved is the refereeing, bottom line. "That shouldnt come across as sour grapes because thats just the reality. And it was bad for both teams and Im sure theyre sitting in their locker-room saying the same thing to themselves but theyve got three points with them and that certainly makes it a little easier to swallow." Unkel issued eight yellow cards, including five to Toronto. Kansas City was reduced to 10 men in the 75th minute when captain/defender Matt Besler got a second yellow. Nelsen was also fined by the league in late May for criticizing the officiating after Torontos 2-2 draw at Sporting Kansas City. Nelsen was upset with a straight red card given to defender Steven Caldwell for a high tackle on Sportings Antonio Dovale and with a penalty awarded to Kansas City late in the game. The league did not detail the amount of the fines. Carter Hart Jersey . Formula One Teams Association secretary general Oliver Weingarten says the organization collapsed over unpaid subscription fees and a failure to strike an agreement for 2014 with all 11 teams. Bill Barber Jersey . -- The Windsor Spitfires were left with just one goaltender Tuesday after having their starter walk out on them midway through Game 3 of their Ontario Hockey League playoff matchup with the London Knights. http://www.nhlflyersproauthentic.com/nolan-patrick-hockey-jersey/ .5 million contract, according to a person familiar with the deal. Hatcher agreed to terms Thursday, according to a person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the contract had not been signed.RIO DE JANEIRO - As England endures its worst World Cup for more than 50 years, Wayne Rooney wants his teammates to remember the pain of this debacle. Less than a week into its Brazil campaign, England is already out of contention after losses to Italy and Uruguay. Not since 1958 had England failed to make it to the second round of a World Cup it qualified for. "Its vital we take the pain we are feeling now and remember that and the next tournament we dont want to feel that again," Rooney said Saturday. "Obviously we are hurting," the striker added. "We are really disappointed to be out of the tournament. I am sure you can imagine its quite tough, a long few days for us." The players will sign off with a Group D finale against surprise leader Costa Rica on Tuesday when Rooney wants the teams pride restored. "These next few days wiill be tough, but we have to be strong together as a team," Rooney said. Claude Giroux Jersey. "We have to make sure we are positive for the next game." For goalkeeper Joe Hart, Englands 2-1 losses in Brazil are his worst moments in football. "Its a strange empty feeling," Hart said. "This is ultimately really cruel and gutting for me." Roy Hodgson is set to remain in charge going forward, with the Football Association asking the coach to see out his contract to the 2016 European Championship. And Rooney can see progress under Hodgson, who took charge before Euro 2012. "He has brought a great enthusiasm to the team ... Roy is the man to take us forward," Rooney said. "We appreciate what he has done for us. He has changed the way we have played." ___ Rob Harris can be followed at www.twitter.com/RobHarris ' ' '
