ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland is considering a procedure on his ailing left ankle that could get him back on the field two months earlier than originally planned. Jones, a left-handed hitter, batted .233 with 15 homers and 51 RBIs with Pittsburgh this year. He lost his starting job late in the season and batted only twice in the playoffs.
