Since Houston Texans fans no longer have a dog in th Antworten

e NFL fight for the 2018 season D.J. Reader Color Rush Jersey , let’s take a few minutes to distract ourselves with, well, the latest distraction for all NFL fans:The Alliance of American Football. Alliance of American FootballSet to debut on CBS at 7 p.m. CST on Saturday February 9th, the San Antonio Commanders take the field against the San Diego Fleet in the Alamodome. That’s right. The only professional football team in Texas to play in February won’t be the Texans or the Dallas Cowboys. Led by two-time CFL Grey Cup Champion head coach and former San Diego Charger head coach Mike Riley, the Commanders hope to do for the State of Texas what the Texans have not been able to do—bring home a championship. Former Houston Texan Kurtis Drummond leads the roster of “Who’s That?” players, including several from UTSA (like quarterback Dalton Sturm) and many others from Texas area schools. While the AAF is more a curiosity at this point, a distraction, a “well, there’s nothing else on...” option for sports fans, unlike previous “rival” pro football leagues Jon Weeks Color Rush Jersey , the AAF has managed to garner quite a bit of coaching talent. With names like Charlie Ebersol, Troy Polamalu, Jared Allen and Hines Ward on the league side of things and Mike Martz, Steve Spurrier and Mike Singletary on the coaching side, the AAF has forced some to sit up and take notice. Alliance of American FootballThe ten-week schedule will culminate in with four-game playoff featuring two teams from each conference. For those wanting to get on the San Antonio Commanders’ bandwagon, here’s some linkage to help you jump on:San Antonio Commanders home pageSan Antonio Commanders rosterSan Antonio Commanders coaching staffSan Antonio Commanders scheduleFor the one or two of you who really miss ex-Texans kicker Nick Novak, he’s on the Birmingham Iron. CDTShareTweetShareShareJadeveon Clowney Update: Rumors About When He’ll Report To TexansThomas B. Shea-USA TODAY SportsCertain news stories reach a point where you’ll believe any absurd twist or serpentine bend they may take. This story about Jadeveon Clowney is not one of those stories. This story is boring, exhausting, and needs to come to an end already. After the sides were unable to agree to terms on a contract extension Kevin Johnson Color Rush Jersey , the Texans franchise-tagged Jadeveon Clowney for the 2019 season. Since then, things have cooled off and gotten constipated. Clowney will either (1) play under the franchise tag after sitting out training camp (the most likely scenario if the team doesn’t come to a long term agreement with him before camp starts), (2) get traded for a first round pick that won’t help the team this year and/or a player who can’t help the team as much as Clowney will, or (3) both sides come to an agreement that results Clowney getting extended and happy, participating in training camp, and feeling ready to make opposing offenses pay when the 2019 season begins. Former Houston Texan Cecil Shorts III (if she thinks Shorts III is a Texan and not a Jaguar, she’s too young for you), who probably has some inside information, made a report of his own. Sports Radio 610, where Shorts announced what he heard Joel Heath Color Rush Jersey , posted the following:Clowney is in the right on this one. He’s a defensive end, not an outside linebacker, and really he can just be classified as an EDGE. If the Texans want to keep him around long term, haggling over $2-$4 million per year really doesn’t seem like it makes much sense. Hopefully this all gets resolved soon, especially since Clowney was rusted and invisible until Week Four last season after missing all of training camp due to his recovery from offseason knee surgery. With the Texans’ upcoming schedule, they’ll need Clowney to contribute right away.
